“The EU judicial system doesn’t dictate your system it pushes it to produce better results”

The director of the primary school, Ndre Mjeda / Mladen Markovic in Binqe, Nadire Ymeri welcomed the Czech Ambassador to Kosovo, Janina Hrebickova who said she was happy to be here and aware that Muslims, Catholics and orthodox coexist together in Binqë/Binqe.

“I saw many things in the past 16 years and even though some people did not believe that Kosovo would have a very good and peaceful future, I always had no doubts about that.” said the Ambassador. She continued by saying that “You might not know where you will be in 15 years, but I can tell you that miracles do happen. Life works in mysterious ways and I can see Kosovo as part of the European Union and one day you being part of it”.  She stressed that Kosovo needs a good and quality education, good leadership on local and central level. “You are the ones choosing your leaders and you are the ones who actually will be deciding what kind of quality of life you are going to have”, said Janina Hrebickova.

The Ambassador continued by explaining what is the EU and how it works. She insisted on how important it is within the Union to respect diversity and different opinions. After the lecture pupils addressed their questions to the Czech Ambassador. They wanted to know how the European Union is involved now in Kosovo and how it is helping Kosovo towards its European perspective.
